From the recently-reopened Brora in Sutherland, this single malt was distilled in 1977 and bottled in October 2001 at cask strength and non-chill filtered. The dominant notes are smoke, strawberries, dried fruits and apples. The recent relaunch of Brora by Diageo can only enhance the value of surviving bottlings of the original Brora, like this release.
