Domaine Comte de Vogüé is the only producer in Musigny Grand Cru to produce a white wine. Major replanting projects have been taking place since the 1980s and meant that the age of the vines was far below what cellar master, François Millet, deemed of Grand Cru stature, hence its more modest ‘Bourgogne Blanc’ classification. The 2001 is now approaching full maturity, exhibiting opulent notes of stone fruits, citrus peel, grilled hazelnuts, beeswax and honey.
