Bouju Tres Vieux Brut de Fut 40 Year Old

Situated in the heart of Grande Champagne in Saint-Preuil, Daniel Bouju is a boutique cognac house with a history that goes back to 1805. The 30-hectare estate is planted mainly to Ugni Blanc, the preferred grape for the production of cognac because of its natural acidity and low-sugar levels. This ‘Tres Vieux’ expression has undergone the unique process of being aged in new oak barrels, then old barrels. Perfectly balancing oak and spice, this is a refined cognac, offering elegant notes of rose petals, liquorice and a touch of mint.
