Domaine Bott-Geyl is a 15-hectare organic and biodynamic estate based in Beblenheim, Alsace, that has winemaking traditions stretching back to 1795. 2006 was a complex year in the region and winemaker, Jean-Christophe Bott, had to be ruthless with his selection and declassification of fruit. Nonetheless, this is a well-balanced late-harvested Pinot Gris from the Sonnenglanz Grand Cru which has admirable concentration and vibrant acidity.
