This Louis Jadot’s 1989 Bonnes-Mares has a delightful nose of raspberries, dried strawberries, plums, earthy minerals, menthol, liquorice and herbs. The palate shows great concentration, depth and a linear acidity, with tannins that are fine and soft. A charming wine that is probably at its peak now.
