Bodegas Caro 2017

Bodegas CARO is a partnership between Domaine Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) and the Catena family. Established in 1999, the shared goal was to produce a single wine that would combine the two signature grapes of each producer, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. Matured in 60% new oak for 18 months, this powerful red is given structure and depth from premium Cabernet, while Malbec brings layers of supple red fruit. Expect aromas of raspberries, black pepper, violets, cloves and dark chocolate. The palate is expressive, with intense black fruit, chocolate and spices.
