Montefalco Sagrantino is made with 100% Sagrantino grapes, in the central Italian region of Umbria. Vinification is made with natural yeasts and the wine does not undergo any stabilization or filtration. On the nose, this powerful red expresses typical scents of blackberries and blackcurrants, with notes of spice and vanilla. On the palate, it is well-structured with smooth tannins and good length.
