Didier Dagueneau was affectionately known as the “Wild Man of Pouilly” not least because of his looks, but due to his approach to winemaking often being seen as radical and even controversial. Having tragically passed away, his legacy lives on in the remarkably pure and intense wines produced by his children, Benjamin and Charlotte. This is the estate’s “entry level” non-terroir specific offering, an incredible expression of barrel-fermented Sauvignon Blanc bursting with citrussy fruit and chalky minerality.
