A gently peated dram from Berry Bros and Rudd, where the peat is a deliberate choice and carefully controlled to give a balanced whisky, focusing on sweet fruit and gentle smoke. The nose is rich and complex, releasing aromas of zesty peels, honeydew melon, toasty peat and hints of dried earth. The palate shows continued bright fruit and soft smoke, with hints of butterscotch.
