Bemberg Estate Wines is a relatively new company specialising in micro-cuvées of Chardonnay, Malbec and Pinot Noir from various exceptional sites across Argentina. `Finca loss Chañares` is produced from Malbec grown at the highest altitude in the Bemberg Estate wines portfolio.
From the cool 2014 vintage, Master of Wine Madeleine Stenwreth describes the wine as follows, `Intensely perfumed with great energy and precision, the power of this exceptional vineyard site first shows through in a contrasting play between bright cherry and fragrant red flower notes with dried spices, wild herbs and a seductive undercurrent of earthy, smoky graphite. With remarkable backbone of chalky-textured tannins and a flinty, mineral blackness, the place expresses itself with great confidence. A stunning wine.`
