Château Beauséjour is a Premier Grand Cru Classé estate in Saint-Emilion now run by the eighth generation of the Duffau-Lagarosse family. With just 6.5ha of vineyards, the terroir is ideally suited to Merlot (accounting for over 80% of the plantings) and, whilst modern examples are exotic, lavish and deeply complex, older vintages are more elegant and develop remarkable truffley complexity.
