With over 140 years of history and wines from close to 90 different appellations, Joseph Drouhin offers a fascinating array of Burgundy terroirs. The 2016 Beaune Clos des Mouches Blanc is an excellent wine that has taken a little richness and weight with a small amount of bottle age. On the nose it has delicious scents of stone fruits, pear, citrus, honey and toasted nuts. Plush in texture and generous with fruit, the palate is sumptuous and expansive, with subtle texture and a fine streak of acidity to keep everything in check.
