The 2018 Bâtard-Montrachet from Domaine Vincent & Francois Jouard is still a young and restrained wine, but it has all the qualities to evolve perfectly in a couple of years. Beautifully aromatic, with notes of baked apples, toasted oak, honey, lemon curd and a touch of sweet spices. The palate reveals juicy, fruit concentration, with fine acidity and weighty oak that needs time to integrate. Excellent length and ageing potential.
