Lucien Le Moine is a micro-négoce founded in 1999 by Mounir and Rotem Saouma producing remarkably small quantities of exceptional quality wine solely from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards. The 2016 Bâtard-Montrachet is flamboyant and rich on the nose yet exudes superb delineation and complex aromatic nuances. Rich, full-bodied and powerful on the palate, there is excellent focus and drive, culminating in an exceptionally long, mineral-infused finish. A superb release that has youthful appeal but will flourish with further cellaring.
