Based in Chassagne-Montrachet, Fontaine-Gagnard is a family-run domaine with approximately 12 hectares of vineyards. It was formed in 1985 by Laurence Gagnard and her husband Richard Fontaine after Laurence inherited part of Domaine Gagnard-Delagrange. This release is their 2020 Bâtard-Montrachet, one of five grand cru vineyards located in a cluster around the Montrachet hill. Expect notes of citrus, green apple, a thin layer of herbs and minerals, leading to a long and rewarding finish.
