With roots tracing back to the 12th century, the Guasch family is the proud owner of the Baron de Sigognac brand. Situated in the Bas Armagnac region, their estate encompasses 60 hectares of vineyards, predominantly planted with Ugni Blanc and Baco varieties. This vintage Armagnac was distilled in 1944, the same year that Allied forces landed on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day, marking a crucial turning point in World War II.
