In 1982, the legendary Bruno Giacosa, purchased 25ha of the Falletto vineyard in Serralunga d’Alba and has cemented its status as one of the most revered wines from the region. The 2016 is a tightly packed and dense wine with immense concentration and power. It is superbly balanced and has attractive red berry fruit, but cellaring is recommended.
