Founded in 1918 by Bartolo Mascarello, the Mascarello estate is located in the Barolo village, with just 5 hectares of vines made up of small parcels. The winemaking style here remains very traditional, with vinification in old cement and wooden vats and no temperature control. This rare bottle from the 1967 vintage is a mature, textbook Barolo, marked by sweet tannins, great acidity and very deep flavours. A very impressive wine considering its age.
