Punset Barbera d`Alba 2022 is a full-bodied red wine produced from organically certified Barbera grapes in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. Marina Marcarino is a fifth-generation winemaker at Punset, considered a innovator after transforming all 20 hectares of land into fully organic at a time when major producers were abandoning tradition and farming commercially. Spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts are followed by ageing for a few months in cement tanks. Producer note. "Fruity notes of cherry and blueberries, intense and complex. Fruity on the palate, it deeply confirms what is promised in the nose. The wine is round, pleasant and well balanced, with good acidity and a clean finish."
