E Pira & Figli’s Barbera d`Alba Superiore is a structured and elegant wine, which aged for 16 months in French oak barriques before bottling. In the glass, the wine exhibits an intense ruby red colour with purple reflections. On the nose, there are hints of red and black fruits such as cherries, plums and blackberries. The palate is full-bodied and robust, with fine tannins and a touch of menthol on the finish.
