Vinhos Barbeito is a family-owned and operated winery founded in 1946 and is one of the finest producers on the island of Madeira. This is a gorgeous Colheita (single harvest) Madeira made from 100% Malvasia drawn from a single cask that was aged for 14 years. With 104g/L of residual sugar, it is luscious yet smooth on the palate, with notes of dried white fruits, sultanas, orange zest and nuts. Serve lightly chilled and once opened it can be consumed over several months.
