From a 0.24ha parcel exactly in the middle of the vineyard facing the village of Neive. The vines are 80+ years-old and production is extremely limited. The 2011 Montefico has great potential longevity that will reward patience. There is plenty to enjoy in the cherry fruit and smoky, tarry finish, however the tannins will require further bottle age to soften.
