An outstanding 23-year-old Barbaresco, with aromas of sweet tobacco, dried cherries and rose petals. A deep and complex wine, with layers of ripe plums and wild cherries on the palate. Well-structured, with a firm tannic backbone, this is a wine destined for long-term ageing. Fresh acidity permeates the long finish. Enjoy it with a rosemary and garlic roast beef or fettuccine with mushroom and black truffle.
