This is an independent release of well-aged rum from Barbados, distilled by an undisclosed producer back in 2001. Eventually, in 2021, the spirit was bottled up in Scotland by Samaroli, an Italian company with a long history of bottling excellent rums and whiskies. There are notes of banana, pineapple, star anise, cinnamon, lime, honey and a touch of sea salt.
