A 32 year old Balmenach aged in a refill Sherry hogshead and limited to just over 208 bottles. A nose of baked apple, nutmeg, vanilla and citrus oil leads into a medium bodied palate with hints of tobacco and dark chocolate. A long, evolving finish rounds things off. An elegant 32 year old single malt where the Sherry wood does not overwhelm the flavour of the spirit.
