The Bahans Haut-Brion is the second-label wine of Château Haut-Brion and is produced from the same grapes grown for the estate’s flagship wine, namely Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. It represents a slightly earlier-drinking, more approachable alternative to their grand vin. Very ripe and dense on the nose, filled with blackberries and black cherries. The palate is very harmonious, with lots of blackcurrants and deeper, plummy fruit.
