The 2017 Raaigras Grenache comes from a tiny 0.86ha vineyard planted in 1952 and is the oldest Grenache vineyard in South Africa. It is perfumed and inviting on the nose with scents of spice-dusted cherries, plums and wild herbs. Medium-bodied, it is sleek and svelte, delivering delicious red fruits on a lightly textural chassis of tannin.
