Many of California’s greatest ever Chardonnays have been produced with fruit from the unofficial ‘grand cru’ vineyard that was planted in 1972 by the legendary Kent Ritchie. This is an ample, mouth-filling wine with notes of opulent fruit, spices, roasted nuts and citrus oils, reminiscent of a rich Batard-Montrachet.
