For more than a decade, winemaking sensation Mark Aubert has produced some of the greatest and most consistent Californian Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. 2017 was the inaugural vintage of Powder House and the 2018 is a powerhouse release. It leaps from the glass with intense notes of lemon zest, poached pear, lime cordial, griddled nuts and fresh ginger. It is abundant and all-encompassing, culminating in a finish of remarkable length and freshness that leaves the palate simultaneously sated but ultimately wanting more.
