Mark Aubert is undoubtedly one of California’s masters of Chardonnay and initially cut his teeth working alongside the legendary Helen Turley at Peter Michael Winery. Eastside is his only Chardonnay from the Russian River AVA but is notable for producing powerful yet delicately elegant wines. This remarkably rare double magnum from the superb 2014 vintage is a profoundly delicious wine with seductive notes of baked apples, peaches, orange peel, apple blossom, wild honey and smoky grilled nuts.
