Described by Mark Aubert himself as ‘simply ethereal’, the 2019 CIX Estate Chardonnay cements the winery’s reputation for quality and precision. The wine opens with aromas of orchard fruits, apple blossom, honeycomb and jasmine tea. The palate is dense, with a brilliant sense of purity and transparency. Precise and well-balanced, with incredible length on the finish. Its appearance is slightly hazy showing their dedication to minimal intervention winemaking.
