The Georgian Askaneli winery was founded in 1998 by the Chkhaidze brothers. The name “Askaneli” is associated with the small, magical village of Askana, where the old cellar, built by the family`s ancestor, Antimoz Chkhaidze, still stands. This is a dry, light white wine, made from the native late-budding Kisi grape variety. Subtle aromas of green apple, green pear, apricot and meadow flowers. Crispy acidity blends harmoniously with the light body, concluding on a velvety finish.
