Artemis Karamolegos Pyritis Magnum 2021

Artemis Karamolegos is one of the most vibrant wineries on the island of Santorini. ‘Pyritis’ is crafted from three parcels of Assyrtiko vines, believed to be as old as 120 years. Two of these parcels are located in Pyrgos, while the third is found in Megalochori. The vinification process is carefully controlled for temperature, utilizing only neutral yeasts to preserve the utmost varietal character. Following vinification, the wine matures for 10 months on its lees, with regular stirring. Bursting with vitality and intensity, Pyritis represents a sophisticated expression of this quintessentially Greek variety.
