Distilled in the same year that the Arran distillery first opened its doors, this 23 year old single malt is limited to just 172 bottles ever. The nose is beeswax, lemon balm and pastry with hints of ripe pineapple. The mouthfeel is big and oily with notes of vanilla fudge and a hint of freshly cracked pepper. The influence of the oak barrels takes centre stage on the finish with notes of freshly shaved cedarwood and gentle oaky char mingling across a long satisfying finish.
