Ardbeg Blasda is a limited-edition single malt that was bottled in 2008. The nose is multi-layered, including aromas of banana and toffee, roast chestnuts, pine cones and vanilla custard, spiced pears and almonds. The palate is silky and creamy, with sweet almonds, tangy lemon juice, creamy cappuccino and gentle spices. In contrast to the other Ardbeg bottlings, a clear glass bottle was used for this whisky.
