An exciting new addition to the Ardbeg core range in the form of a superb 19 year old, aged in a combination of American oak and Oloroso Sherry casks.
Influence from the Sherry cask takes a backseat here - this is more classic Ardbeg peat and vanilla with added complexity and finesse. Less peaty than their 10YO and with a wonderfully fruity note of citrus oil and baked lemons on the nose and palate. A hint of spice on the finish makes for a well-balanced dram that fans of Ardbeg will relish.
