Aged for six years in American oak casks, this Kentucky rye undergoes an additional finishing period of up to 18 months in casks previously utilized for Caribbean rum maturation. The nose reveals notes of citrus fruit, caramel candy, maple sugar, vanilla, oak, hazelnut, spice, and sherry wood. On the palate, sweet rum, sherry wood, and subtle oak complement each other.
