The annual release of Angel Envy Cask Strength has become hotly anticipated in recent years. The 2014 is a deep, rich whiskey with notes of honeyed apples and stone fruit on the nose along with ripe banana, oak char and a light floral note. The palate is big and bold with vanilla, butterscotch and yet more toasty oak before a medium, dry finish with a note of black tea.
