Amrut 10 Year Old Greedy Angels

The Angel`s Share is the name distillers give to the evapouration of whisky from the cask. This lost liquid helps to intensify the remaining whisky and concentrate flavours. Amrut`s Greedy Angels has seen ten long years maturing in the warm climate of India before being finsihed in rum casks for added complexity. Notes of ripe banana and gingerbread stand out on the nose while the palate is toasted cereal, brown butter and honey while the finish is nutty and spicy. A big bold whisky bottled at 55% ABV.
