Former assistant to the legendary Valpolicella producer Giuseppe Quintarelli, Nicola Ferrari and his wife Laura decided to make their own wines from 4 hectares of organically farmed vines in Fumane giving birth to Monte Santoccio. This Amarone della Valpolicella Classico shows intense and complex aromas of blackberries, plums and red fruits jam, with the addition of balsamic notes. Powerful with grippy tannins, the wine is beautifully balanced with a gloriously long finish.
