The 2000 vintage was the last one to be brought by Giuseppe Quintarelli himself from the vineyard to the cellar, making it a precious collector’s item. The wine offers enticing aromas of ripe plums, red berries, followed by citrus peel, spices and some floral notes. Full-bodied, with smooth tannins and plenty of fruit that turns to black liquorice and cherries. Only 110 magnum bottles were produced.
