A blend of 40% Corvina, 30% Corvinone, 25% Rondinella and 5% Sangiovese and made using the `ripasso` method whereby a portion of the grapes are dried before use. The result is a juicy, ripe red with bags of enticing cherry and dark, peppery chooclate. Smooth and dense on the pallet with yet more juicy dark fruit before a balanced finish that pairs zippy acidity with smooth, fine-grained tannins.
