First introduced in 2015, Rosa Ruiz is made with 100% Albariño grapes from a selection of old vineyards located in the surroundings of O Rosal, one of Rías Baixas’ five sub-zones. The wine was matured on the lees for five months to add texture and weight, which carry the intense notes of apricot, mango and lemon sorbet. The name is a tribute to the youngest daughter of the late producer Santiago Ruiz, considered ‘the father of Albariño’. Production is limited to only 7,000 bottles.
