Ailala Treixadura 2018

Ailalá-Ailalelo is the project of three young winemakers in the ancient Avia Valley in the Ribeiro DO. This is a beautifully fresh and aromatic white wine made from the lesser-known local variety, Treixadura. Bright yellow in colour with subtle golden flecks, aromas of stone fruits, citrus, white flowers and seashells emerge from the glass. On the palate it is vibrant and fresh with delicious notes of citrus fruits and wild herbs and a distinctive saline tang to the finish. A characterful wine that would be excellent with fresh seafood and makes a great alternative to Albariño.
