Hailing from the Côtes de Provence, the 2020 vintage is 90% Grenache, 7% Cinsault and 3% Syrah. Château Minuty was purchased in 1936 by the Matton-Farnet family and soon after, the vineyards were completely replanted with a focus on traditional, local grape varieties, painstakingly farmed to produce lower yields.
This foresight and dedication cemented the Château`s position as one of the most-recognised producers in the region. The grapes come from a clonal selection of the estate’s finest Grenache vines, planted in twenty-five year-old coastal vineyards, which are sustainably farmed. The grapes were all harvested by hand.
This is the most serious and structured of Château Minuty’s bottlings, with intense peach and melon fruit flavours perfectly complemented by saline and iodine notes on the mid-palate and a lengthy, mineral-laced finish.
