A beautifully designed wine bar meets gastro pub offering a wonderfully curated list of accessible wines with a delicious menu of small plates designed to pair perfectly.
On the site of a former Jazz Club The White Horse has been beautifully refurbished to include a light, airy ground floor bar plus the stunning Equus bar on the lower ground floor holding up to 60 guests for relaxed, informal wine tastings, parties or just accommodating extra guests throughout the week.
Drawing on Hedonism Wines 6,000+ bins, The White Horse wine list features bottles from £25 - £250 aimed at wowing the curious wine fans whether it is a bottle after work or celebrating with friends at the weekend.
We are looking for a General Manager to take on this exciting venture – from simply creating the best wine bar destination in London to experimenting with small scale theatre productions and musical events - the opportunities for the site are endless and we are looking for the right person with the right attitude to help the business grow and thrive.
You should be ambitious for yourself and for what you can achieve – you should have exceptional people skills as a warm and convivial host, have super high standards of service and the ability to get the best out of a small team with great potential.
Previous restaurant, wine bar or quality gastro pub experience is essential.
Whilst you will not have to be a wine expert you should have strong knowledge of all the classic grape varieties from the major wine producing regions.
