This 2010 iteration remains dense and powerful but has undoubtedly entered its drinking widow. \"A big, dramatic wine, the 2010 Brunello di Montalcino Luce saturates the palate with masses of intense dark fruit. Smoke, mocha, bittersweet chocolate, plum and cloves all open up in the glass. The 2010 is rich, creamy and voluptuous, with tons of texture and pure resonance. It can be enjoyed today or cellared for up to a decade, perhaps beyond. Stylistically, the Luce Brunello sits on the far edge of concentration and textural thickness, with an Amarone-like intensity.
