The distillery was established on the site an old cheese factory close to the Baltic Sea in 2012. It is named after the nearby Kyrö river. There are three regular whisky product lines: Kyrö Malt, Kyrö Wood Smoke and Kyrö’s Choice.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eKyrö’s flagship Single Malt Rye Whisky is double-distilled and matured in new American white oak casks. For the Kyrö Wood Smoke malt rye whisky, the rye is traditionally smoked with alder smoke. The final whisky is matured in ex-Bourbon French oak and new American white oak casks.
