There are a mere 3ha of village wine in Vougeot - and Clos du Village is one of them. Benjamin Leroux acquired a tiny parcel here in 2011 and it turned out to be one of his favourite village cuvées. Using organic and biodynamic practices in the vineyard, Leroux uses low-intervention principles and minimal new oak to achieve the extraordinary purity of fruit and terroir signature for which his wines have become famous. \"The 2020 Vougeot Clos de Village has a pretty, tertiary nose that unfolds nicely with aeration.
