Based in Vosne-Romanée, Domaine Méo-Camuzet produces some of the most coveted wines from the Côte d`Or. Founder Étienne Camuzet was both a vigneron as well as a dedicated politician who spent most of his time in Paris. Today, Méo-Camuzet covers approximately 14 hectares of vines in very prestigious appellations in Burgundy. Since 1989, the estate has been overseen by Jean-Nicolas Méo, who also looks after Nicolas-Jay estate in Oregon. \"A perfumed and unusually cool nose in the context of the vintage is both elegance and complex red berry fruit-liqueur aromas that are liberally cut with wet stone and soft earth notes. There is good delineation to the middle weight flavours that possess firm tannins and plenty of punch as the palate impression of the dusty and mineral-inflected finish is linear and moderately austere. Despite the austerity, this is really quite classy. Note that I have shortened my estimated initial drinking window by a few years though be aware that this will still require at least 10 to 12 years to arrive at its peak.\" Burghound, 2013","brand":"Domaine Meo Camuzet","offers":[{"title":"Duty Paid","offer_id":62412816351562,"sku":"HED98001","price":360.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0998\/7696\/2634\/files\/HED98001.jpg?v=1781893997"},{"product_id":"corton-les-perrieres-meo-camuzet-2011","title":"Corton Les Perrieres Meo Camuzet 2011","description":"Based in Vosne-Romanée, Domaine Méo-Camuzet is a highly revered name in Burgundy. The estate is run by Jean-Nicolas Méo, who took over from legendary Henri Jayer, a mentor who greatly influenced the Domaine’s winemaking style. Méo-Camuzet`s wines are known for their finesse, complexity, and age-worthiness, and `Les Perrières` is no exception. The 2011 vintage in Burgundy was known for its approachability in youth due to its ripe fruit profile and balanced structure. However, Grand Cru wines like the Méo-Camuzet Corton `Les Perrières` are still designed with considerable ageing potential in mind. At this stage, the 2011 vintage should exhibit evolved aromatic complexity, featuring notes of ripe red berries, forest floor, spice, and a touch of gamey, savoury notes.","brand":"Domaine Meo Camuzet","offers":[{"title":"Duty Paid","offer_id":62415503556938,"sku":"HED93470","price":378.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0998\/7696\/2634\/files\/HED93470.jpg?v=1781902294"}],"url":"https:\/\/hedonism.co.uk\/collections\/burgundy-corton-les-perrieres-still-wines.oembed","provider":"Hedonism Wines","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
